Today, LibreTemplates.com reached a milestone I’m genuinely proud of: 500 uploaded themes for PowerPoint and LibreOffice Impress, available in both PPTX and ODP formats. For a small, independent project, this feels like a quiet but important moment.

From the beginning, the idea behind the site was simple — offer clean, practical presentation templates that are free, easy to download without complicated licensing. Over time, another priority became just as important: making sure templates are accessibility‑friendly, with clear typography, and layouts that work well for all audiences.

Each theme is also checked in both PowerPoint and LibreOffice Impress, because I want users of either tool to have a smooth experience. Sometimes that means adjusting spacing, fixing alignment issues, or tweaking colors so the design behaves consistently across both platforms. It’s slow work, but it matters.

Some templates are simple, some more polished, but each one represents a small step toward making the library more helpful for students, teachers, freelancers, and anyone preparing a presentation at the last minute.

Looking ahead, there’s still a lot to build. I plan to keep expanding the collection, adding more accessibility‑focused designs, adding more graphics and data visualizations. There will be more ODP‑native themes, more variety, and hopefully more ideas shaped by the people who use the site.

This milestone is a nice moment, but it’s just one step. The goal remains the same: keep the site useful, keep it free, and keep making better designs for everyone who needs them. Thanks everyone for using the website.
